GRC will hold its Annual Charity Golf Tournament this year in conjunction with the GRC Annual Meeting on Oct. 23, 2016 at the William Land Golf Course in Sacramento, California.

As every year in conjunction with the GRC Annual Meeting & the GEA Geothermal Energy Expo, GRC is holding its Annual Charity Gold Tournament.

With the location of the GRC Annual Meeting this year in Sacramento, California, the golf tournament will be held at the William Land Golf Course, Sacramento’s oldest golf treasure.

New Format!

The tournament is a four-man scramble. Awards will be given for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place teams. Men’s and Women’s closest to hole, longest drive and hole-in-one.

  • 9 Hole Golf Tournament!
  • Challenges and contests on each hole

Come play 9 holes, network with the core people within our industry and support the GRC Student Scholarship Fund.
$125 per individual or $450 per foursome

Tournament Fee Includes: Green Fee, Range Balls, Tournament Service, Continental Breakfast and Awards Lunch.

William Land Golf Cource has 12 sets of rental clubs, which include men’s and women’s right hand & left hand. If you do not
plan on bringing your own clubs, contact the GRC or Patrick Hanson as soon as possible to reserve them while supplies last.
Rental Clubs will cost $30 per set. Please notify the GRC at the time of registration if you will need a set of rental clubs.

William Land is a Walking Course with only a limited number of Golf Carts – Reserve a Cart on a First Come First Serve basis
for $75.00
(All donations will go to the GRC Student Scholarship Fund).

Schedule

  • 7:30am: Shuttle leaves Sacramento Convention Center
  • 7:45am: Registration & Breakfast
  • 8:30am: Shotgun Start
  • Awards Luncheon: Upon Completion of Tournament

William Land Golf Course is less than 15 minutes away from the Sacramento Convention Center (3.2 miles). A shuttle will be provided for transportation to the golf course. The shuttle will pick golfers up at the Sacramento Convention Center, at the bus loading area on J Street, at 7:30am. If you are driving yourself, plan on arriving 45 minutes early to check in, grab some breakfast and get some practice swings in before the 8:30am shotgun start!

Awards Luncheon Raffle

Each player will receive two (2) Raffle Tickets for participating in the Tournament. Additional Raffle Tickets will be sold for $10 each.

There is no limit on Raffle Ticket purchases!

GRC encourages teams to bring a raffle prize! All proceeds will go to support the GRC Scholarship Fund.
