Chevron Geothermal Indonesia to start work on its potential 75 MW project at Mount Ciremai, Indonesia in 2014.

Chevron Geothermal Indonesia won a tender on a geothermal area at Mount Ciremai, some while ago. Initially the company planned start of project work in 2013, but expects that by 2014 work will started, according to the Head of Department of Water Resources and Mines for District Brass.

The initial potential is estimated at 75 MW with total potential of up to 150 MW. It is expected that Chevron will conduct community meetings before any work starts.
