The 5th National Geothermal Geothermal Meeting (RENAG) by Colombian Geothermal Association (AGEOCOL) is being held in collaboration with the Ecuadorian Geothermal Assocaition, Nov. 22-26, 2021.

The Colombian Geothermal Association (AGEOCOL) in collaboration with the Ecuadorian Geothermal Association (AGE), invites you to participate in the Fifth  National Geothermal Meeting (RENAG 2021) from November 22 to 26 – 2021.

The National Geothermal Meeting (RENAG) is an annual event established by AGEOCOL, to strengthen the knowledge and development of geothermal energy in Colombia. Its objective is to integrate industry, academia and government in a single space, in order to know the status of projects and research that involve the development of geothermal energy.

After the four previous versions carried out in the cities of Bogotá (2016), Manizales (2017), Bogotá (2018) and Medellín (2019), in this 2021, RENAG will have its first virtual version. After a year of pandemic, RENAG returns in its fifth edition to resume experiences and generate new ones that promote research and development of the geothermal resource in all its branches. Recharged with energy since 2020, in this version we will have the support and participation of the Ecuadorian Geothermal Association (AGE), reaffirming a binational alliance that goes beyond a majestic volcanic complex shared by the two countries.

This event, as in previous versions, is divided into two parts and will last for 5 days, which will be held virtually this year in response to the new normal product of the pandemic. The courses and talk sessions are aimed at academia, companies, government institutions and the community in general, who want to promote the development of geothermal energy from technical, legal and social perspectives.
