Check out the program and set up for the upcoming PIVOT 'From Hydrocarbons to Heat' Geothermal Conference Series taking place end of the month.
At the end of this month, Project InnerSpace will be hosting the third annual PIVOT ‘From Hydrocarbons to Heat’ Geothermal Conference Series from July 25th through the 29th! Why PIVOT? Because a pivot is faster than a transition.
The conference idea – so Project InnerSpace in a post on LinkedIn – came from the idea that if the oil and gas industry developed geothermal energy at the scale they currently develop oil and gas resources, our climate and energy goals would be achievable.
No other industry is positioned in such a unique way, where their core competencies align so perfectly to what is needed to scale geothermal development. We’re talking subsurface characterization, drilling, well engineering, operations – the same stuff that the oil and gas industry has been doing for decades. The goal of #PIVOTgeothermal is to build momentum and traction within the oil and gas industry for geothermal development, with the goal of global engagement in scalable geothermal development across the industry by 2030.
