EDC increases capacity of BacMan plant by 5 MW

The geothermal plant's Unit 2 in the Philippines now has a total output of 60MW thanks to an upgraded turbine installed earlier this year.
In a recent press release done by EDC in the Philippines, Unit 2 from BacMan Plant now has an output of 60MW, increasing it by 5MW.
“The increased capacity is a direct result of the upgraded Toshiba turbine design. Recall, that the installation of the brand new Toshiba steam turbine rotor unit and diaphragms was completed in September 2014,” EDC stated in a letter to the Philippine Stock Exchange.
