EDC seeks local approval for exploration at Mt. Apo

The Energy Development Corporation (EDC) will start its data gathering activities within the Mt. Zion Area as soon as the Davao City Council approves the endorsement.
Local news from the Philippines state that the Davao City Council is looking for an endorsement to conduct data gathering studies and regional geoscientific studies along Mt. Zion area (from Barangay Sibulan and Atan-awe in Davao City) for its Mt. Apo geothermal project.
The Energy Development Corporation (EDC) will start its data gathering activities within the Mt. Zion Area as soon as the City Council will approve the endorsement.
The data gathering activity aims to explore the geothermal resources in its existing Mt. Apo Geothermal Project.
