EDC continues to expand their portfolio of retail power contracts with an agreement to supply geothermal power to the manufacturing facilities of Hamlin

Philippine geothermal company Energy Development Corporation (EDC) has signed an agreement to supply power to the facility of Hamlin Industrial Corp. in Carmona, Cavite. The power will come from EDC’s Bacon-Manito geothermal facilities in the Bicol region.

The agreement with Hamlin is only the latest entry in EDC’s list of retail supply contracts. Earlier this year, they have also entered into agreements to supply geothermal power to the manufacturing facilities of Mondelez Philippines, Inc. and Neltex Development Co. Inc.

EDC is currently the Philippines’ leading geothermal energy company and is one of the world’s top geothermal producers with an installed capacity of 1471.8 MW across four sites.
