Registration is still open for the 3rd Philippine International Geothermal Conference, taking place on October 27 to 28, 2022 in a virtual platform.

The 3rd Philippine International Geothermal Conference will be held on October 27 to 28, 2022 with the theme “Geothermal Sustainability.” This will be a virtual event and registration is free via this link.

The focus of this year’s event will be on resource sustainability as the Philippines paves the way for another decade of stable geothermal power generation while also spurring growth and technological development. The conference will focus on the topics but are not limited to:

  • Exploration and Development
  • Resource Management
  • Low-Medium Temperature Systems
  • Binary Systems
  • Acid and Erosion Management
  • Power Plant Reliability and Efficiency Improvement Systems
  • Health and Safety
  • Environmental, Social and Governance
  • Corporate Social Responsibility
  • Policy and Education

Scientists, engineers, researchers, technicians, academics, graduate and undergraduate students, environmental NGOs, drilling engineers, geothermal and drilling service providers, power plant operators and developers, businessmen and other interested individuals are encouraged to attend the event.

The event is being organized by the National Geothermal Association of the Philippines (NGAP) in partnership with the Department of Energy (DOE) and the New Zealand Trade and Enterprise (NZTE).
