Final results of the Mexican Geothermal Financial Program (PGM) were released on August 21, 202o.

The “Financing and Risk Transfer Program for Geothermal in Mexico” is developed by the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB), through the Clean Technologies Fund (CTF), in conjunction with the National Institute of Electricity and Clean Energies (INEEL ), Nacional Financiera (NAFIN) and the Ministry of Energy (SENER).
The objective of the program is to develop new geothermal projects; through the drilling of exploratory wells and the development of geothermal areas with a current permit or concession granted by SENER.

The awards now were published by the Mexican National Institute of Electricity and Energy (INEEL) as part of the PGM Call.

CFE won with 3 different projects at Los Negritos projects in Michoacán, San Marcos in Jalisco and Las Tres Vírgenes in Baja California Sur. The fourth award was won by Grupo Dragon the Domo de San Pedro project in Nayarit.
