The U.S. Geothermal Energy Association (GEA) and gold sponsor Ormat Technologies announce the 3rd National Geothermal Summit to take place June 26-27, 2013 in Reno, Nevada.

The U.S. Geothermal Energy Association (GEA) and event Gold Level sponsor Ormat announce the third annual National Geothermal Summit on Wednesday, June 26th and Thursday, June 27th, 2013 in Reno, NV.

The day long Summit will focus on California, Nevada and the Pacific northwest. Topics for the Summit include policies moving geothermal forward in the western states, the state of geothermal in the states, EGS and DOE technology developments, how states value geothermal energy and a high level discussion on how to build the geothermal industry of the future.

On Wednesday, June 26th, in the evening there will be a networking reception and open exhibit area which will kick off the Summit. On Thursday, June 27th, the National Geothermal Summit will start with a plenary session followed by afternoon break-out sessions, and closing plenary session. The plenary sessions will feature policy leaders invited to speak and engage in discussion about the future of renewable and geothermal power.

The National Geothermal Summit features the who’s who of the geothermal industry. It is an event not to be missed!
