The Indonesian-Dutch geothermal capacity building program GEOCAP will hold a 2-day workshop on Models & Techniques in Geothermal Power Plant Inspections in conjunction with the 6th ITB Intl. Geotheraml Workshop in Bandung/ Indonesia, 20-21 March 2017.

In March 2017, GEOCAP will hold its first training in 2017 on Method and Techniques in Geothermal Power Plant Inspection. This training will be held in conjunction with the 6th ITB International Geothermal Workshop (IIGW) in Bandung with the support from the Human Resources Agency of the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources Indonesia (BPSDM ESDM).

Experienced trainers from ITB and DNVGL will give a 2-days training on Method and Techniques in Geothermal Power Plant. The purpose of this course is to enable geothermal power plant personnel especially the inspector to perform their operation activities. The objective of the course is to provide the course audience with the tools and knowledge to work in area of geothermal power plant including the main component and operation and maintenance management.

At the end of this course, the participant will have knowledge of the operation of geothermal power plant. The knowledge includes concept of engineering design, and problem solving in the operation of geothermal power plant.
