In management changes today, PT Pertamina Geothermal will now be run by Rony Gunawan, taking the position of Adriansyah, who now moves up to take the position of President Director of PT Pertamina.
In a change of management, the former President Director of PT Pertamina Geothermal Adriansyah will move up to the mother company as President Director of PT Pertamina, Indonesia’s State Oil and Gas Company.
The former Senior VP for Exploration, Rony Gunawan moves up to become President Director of PT Pertamina Geothermal Energy, with Syamsu Alam taking his position at the Pertamina Upstream Directorate.
Pertamina also appointed Sigit Raharjo as the VP Upstream Technology Center director to replace Richard H. Tamba. Meanwhile, Sigits position as Pertamina Geothermal Energys director of operations has been handed over to Richard.
The entire handover was conducted in Jakarta on Wednesday, Nov. 20, 2013.
Pertamina believes Adriansyah is the right person for the position of president director of Pertamina EP as he has had a long career in the development of the Upstream Oil and Gas Industry Technology Center under the Pertamina Upstream Directorate. Adriansyah said he would bring improvements to Pertamina EP with a view to enabling Pertamina to emerge as a world-class energy company by 2025.
