Mighty River Power changes name to Mercury

NZ utility Mighty River Power has decided to rebrand itself using the name Mercury.
In an interesting move announced today, New Zealand utility Mighty River Power announces a name change.
With an increasing focus on the retail market, NZ power utilities are seeing market pressure. So Mighty River Power now changes its name to Mercury.
Mercury is the retail brand, which the company inherited when it took over a utility in Auckland.
Mighty River Power is one of the largest geothermal utilities in the world.
