The 40th New Zealand Geothermal Workshop 2018, to be held in Wairakei, New Zealand has now released its draft programme, packed with an exciting array of presentation and keynotes.

The 40th New Zealand Geothermal Workshop to be held in Wairakei, New Zealand – 14-16 November 2018 has now released the draft Programme for the event.

The program features an extensive series of presentations in steams of Reservoir Modelling, Geothermal Engineering – Production & Management, the Future of Geothermal, Geothermal Engineering – Drill & Well Testing, Geothermal Geophysics, Environmental Aspects, Geothermal Geology, Geothermal Heat Anomalies, and Geothermal Geochemistry.

The workshop features keynotes by Andy Blair on Achieving Gender Equality – and the economic value thereof, by Paul Brophy on Integrating Geothermal into the Changing world of Renewables, and by Hildigunnur Thorsteinsson of Reykjavik Energy.
