The geothermal system will have a capacity of 400 KW and will be installed in the northern part of Japan.

According to Bloomberg, JFE Holdings Inc. has won an order to set up a geothermal power system in the northern area of Fukushima, Japan.

The Geothermal power system will consist of a system made by Ormat with 400 KW. JFE also mentioned in the statement released by Bloomberg that this system will be installed for Tsuchiyu Onsen Energy Co.

This will be one of the two projects that are planned and both are backed by the Japanese government.

The same source informs that JFE Engineering signed an agreement with a unit of Ormat in 2010 to cooperate on geothermal projects in Japan.
