Pertamina signs MOU on tourism development near Kamojang plant Kamojang geothermal complex, West Java, Indonesia (Pertamina Geothermal)

The cooperation between the local government and PTE Pertamina aims for a mutually beneficial expansion of tourism in the the area.

Local news from Indonesia inform that Pertamina has recently signed a memorandum of understanding with the local government in order to develop the area near to the Kamojang geothermal plant for tourism use.

The signing of the cooperation agreement was done directly by the President Director of PT PGE and a local government official from Bandung,  at Bandung, last week.

PTE’s president stated that “Kamojang is already known internationally for having great geothermal power, but, unfortunately, has not been optimal regarding tourism,”

The region is seeing a boost in tourism and it is reckoned that through more cooperation, the two sides can benefits from enhancing tourism.
