The event will take place on Tuesday, August 5th and Wednesday, August 6th in Reno. This event will bring together policy leaders, utilities and industry professionals to discuss the opportunities and challenges facing the geothermal industry.

GEA is pleased to be holding its fourth annual National Geothermal Summit on Tuesday, August 5th and Wednesday, August 6th in Reno, NV. The National Geothermal Summit will bring together policy leaders, utilities and industry professionals to discuss the opportunities and challenges facing the geothermal industry.

Topics to be covered include federal leasing and permitting: performance and improvement; state PUC and utility officials presenting on their outlook for geothermal procurement; achieving the potential of the Salton Sea; moving geothermal forward in Nevada and California; public and private utilities and geothermal power; political and tax experts discussing the outlook for federal and state tax incentives for geothermal; sage grouse, adopting new US reporting methodology for geothermal energy; and more.
