Webinar Event announcement for Geothermal Opportunities in Indonesia: Targets for U.S. Exports and Investment.

The U.S. Department of Commerce (DOC) recognized the potential for U.S. exports to this growing market and led a geothermal-based Clean Energy Policy Mission to Indonesia in July 2009 to discuss policy challenges limiting development. Secretary Locke then led a clean energy trade mission to Indonesia in May 2010. In January and February 2011, the U.S. Trade and Development Agency (USTDA) provided training to local Indonesian government officials and stakeholders on developing geothermal power projects and transparent and comprehensive tendering of geothermal resource development opportunities in Indonesia. This summer, USTDA will bring key decision makers from the Indonesia government to the United States to meet and discuss geothermal project opportunities with U.S. geothermal technology and service providers. Learn more about the geothermal opportunities in Indonesia and how to take advantage of the upcoming visit of Indonesian officials to boost your companies’ exports through this webinar.
