In this webinar available to download, representatives of the U.S. Trade and Development Agency and TAS Energy discuss the opportunities in the Indonesian geothermal energy market and how to overcome barriers to entry.

The Indonesian geothermal energy market is to pick up in the coming years and there are many opportunities for developers, suppliers and service providers.

In preparation of this year’s GeoPower Markets Indonesia & Philippines event, to take place June 18-19, 2013 in Jakarta, the organizers held a webinar with Pinsuda Alexander, the Country Manager for Southeast Asia at the U.S. Trade and Development Agency (USTDA) and Halley Dickey, Director for Business Development of TAS Energy in the U.S.

The webinar held earlier this month, discusses the role international companies can play in the growth of the geothermal sector in Indonesia, as well as what barriers to overcome to enter this exciting market.

But it also discussed programs available to support project feasibility studies and market development, technology options, but also improved opportunities stimulated by the new policy announcements and demand for international expertise and investment.
