The detailed scheduled for technical sessions and the programme overview have been published for the upcoming World Geothermal Congress 2026.
We are counting down the last few days to this year’s World Geothermal Congress, to be held in Calgary, Canada on 8-11 June 2026. For those who are participating, the list of parallel technical sessions has now been published. The programme overview has now also been updated with details on the plenaries, panels, roundtables, lunch & learn session, technical streams, social events, and field trips.

The list of technical sessions is exceptionally packed. For those who are attending, it would be a good idea to plan your schedule early so you can make the most out of the WGC 2026 experience. Make sure to also put the social events on your agenda, as these are great opportunities to meet members of the geothermal community in more casual and relaxed settings.
From superhot rock geothermal and direct use applications to sessions on gender equality and indigenous leadership, the organizers of WGC 2026 have gone to great lengths to prepare topics for everyone. For those who are yet to register, registration for WGC 2026 is still open!
